What is the haircut length?

What is the haircut length? Like when you get your back hair and side hair shaved you tell them a number and theyll do it for you. I dont know what the numbers mean but can somebody tell me? Like a number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. I know it means length but can somebody actually tell me the length

I don't have all the sizes, but here are the ones I know:

#2 - 1/4" or 6mm

#3 - 3/8" or 9mm

#4 - 1/2" or 12mm

#5 - 5/8" or 16mm

#6 - 3/4" or 20mm

#7 - 1" or 25mm

You could figure out the pattern and then figure out the missing sizes. Hope this helps!
