  1. olives

  2. JAPANESE FOOD!!!

personally, i think chinese food can sometimes be oily (even though its purrrty good) and american food can make you gain a lotta pounds.

I know Japanese food may seem raw or gross or whatever, but from an american's point of view (sushi and raw fish) there can still be so much more out there!!! Japense food is tastey.

  3. Most anything that can be eaten raw...such as any variety of fruit and vegetables (the list in the other answer is quite complete). Cooking removes many of the main nutrients and vitamins contained in foods... Those that can be consumed raw are the best for us.

After the uncooked foods, the cooked fruit & vegetables, followed by seafood, then meat and finally sweets (consume as little as possible of the last two). Whole grain breads and cereals are also good, but in small amounts as also other carbohydrate foods such as beans, peas, corn and chickpeas.

As to beverages, water is the best liquid to drink (at least six glasses per day)... 1 glass of wine per day, preferably red wine taken with your main meal. Avoid carbonated beverages, and even more so those with artificial sweeteners (aspartame and acesulfame). Fruit juices are also excellent, especially if freshly made.

  4. cottage cheese and potatoes (not together lol)

Cottage cheese because it is lo-cal, lo-carb, high in protein, calcium, and iron. A half-cup of the cheese has 14 grams of protein. This is about as much as 2 ounces of cooked lean meat, poultry, or fish. The same serving size also has 77 milligrams of calcium.

It can be easily eaten for breakfast, the proverbial “most important meal of the day" and it can be eaten for dessert with some berries!

Potatoes have a ton of potassium, way more than bananas and you can put many toppings on it like broccoli.

    But here are some others:

    1. Spinach

For: Sexual enhancement, Muscle growth, Heart healthy, Bone builder, Enhances eyesight, iron replacement.

It may be green and leafy, but spinach is also the ultimate man food. This noted biceps builder is a rich source of plant-based omega-3s and folate, which help reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and osteoporosis. Bonus: Folate also increases blood flow to the p***s. And spinach is packed with lutein, a compound that fights age-related macular degeneration.

    2. Yogurt

Cancer fighter, Bone builder, Boosts immunity

Various cultures claim yogurt as their own creation, but the 2,000-year-old food's health benefits are not disputed: Fermentation spawns hundreds of millions of probiotic organisms that serve as reinforcements to the battalions of beneficial bacteria in your body, which boost the immune system and provide protection against cancer.

    3. Tomatoes

Cancer fighter, Heart healthy, Boosts immunity

There are two things you need to know about tomatoes: Red are the best, because they're packed with more of the antioxidant lycopene, and processed tomatoes are just as potent as fresh ones, because it's easier for the body to absorb the lycopene. Studies show that a diet rich in lycopene can decrease your risk of bladder, lung, prostate, skin, and stomach cancers, as well as reduce the risk of coronary artery disease.

    4. Carrots

Cancer fighter, Boosts immunity, Enhances eyesight

Most red, yellow, or orange vegetables and fruits are spiked with carotenoids — fat-soluble compounds that are associated with a reduction in a wide range of cancers, as well as reduced risk and severity of inflammatory conditions such as asthma and rheumatoid arthritis — but none are as easy to prepare, or have as low a caloric density, as carrots.

    5. Blueberries

Brain stimulant, Cancer fighter, Heart healthy, Boosts immunity

Host to more antioxidants than any other popular fruit, blueberries help prevent cancer, diabetes, and age-related memory changes (hence the nickname "brain berry"). Studies show that blueberries, which are rich in fiber and vitamins A and C, boost cardiovascular health.

    6. Black Beans

Muscle growth, Brain stimulant, Heart healthy

All beans are good for your heart, but none can boost your brain power like black beans. That's because they're full of anthocyanins, antioxidant compounds that have been shown to improve brain function.

    7. Walnuts

Muscle growth, Brain stimulant, Cancer fighter, Heart healthy, Boosts immunity

Richer in heart-healthy omega-3s than salmon, loaded with more anti-inflammatory polyphenols than red wine, and packing half as much muscle-building protein as chicken, the walnut sounds like a Frankenfood, but it grows on trees. Other nuts combine only one or two of these features, not all three.

    8. Oats

Muscle growth, Brain stimulant, Heart healthy

The éminence grise of health food, oats garnered the FDA's first seal of approval. They are packed with soluble fiber, which lowers the risk of heart disease.

  5. Actually that is incorrect.  Black olives have 3 grams of fat per serving, and a serving is usually no more than a few olives.  Olive oil may be "healthier" but it's not healthy by any means so when you see people like Emeril pouring loads of olive oil into hot pans, don't feel justified because it's olive oil.

Healthiest foods of course are steamed vegetables and any non-white starches like brown rice and whole weat grains.

Is that really what you want to know?

  6. The healthiest kind of food is vegetarian All kinds of vegetables are  extremely nutritious. Especially the greens. Then of course there are the non-fattening fruits.
