  1. My son is now 4, my daughter is 2 and the foods they love include:

Pikelets (mini-pancakes) with fruit and ricotta cheese

Cheese cut into shapes with cookie-cutters

    Puffed-rice rounds with vegemite

Sultanas, yogurt drops, craisins (dried cranberries) and other dried fruits.

    Natural fruit yogurts

Homemade slices (I use allrecipes.com and taste.com.au for recipes)

Pizza muffins with lots of fresh vegies(they love building them!)

Fruit skewers (sticks with rockmelon, apple, honey dew, watermelon and banana threaded on)

"Monkey Tails" - Bananas cut in half, placed on a paddle-pop stick and dipped in a little Ice-Magic chocolate as a treat!

Steamed-to-soft (and cooled down) vegies like broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and zuccini with a simple hommus dip.

    Raisin toast

Mini-Quiches (I make mine in a muffin pan)

"Baby Nachos" - Soft pita bread cut into triangles with beans, mild tomato salsa and grated cheese.

  2. Beans on brown bread toast.

Beans are very healthy and good for the body and toddlers love them.

  3. There are millions of options.  My son loves everything from broccoli to vegetarian sushi.  It all depends on how open he is to trying new foods.  You can get some good ideas from this site: http://wholesometoddlerfood.com/

  4. A 2 year old can eat whatever adults can eat and I'm sure you know what foods are healthy.  Unprocessed or minimally processed food is the healthiest.

  5. Most kids like the sweetness of fruits. Try cutting up fruit-just like bananas, apples (the love the carmel dipping sauce), cantelope, oranges-just be careful with watermelon, kiwi, or strawberries. Sometimes they cause an allergic reaction, so introduce those one at a time if he hasn't already had them. Then, my son like carrots, even celery, or fresh broccoli. My son't a dipper, so make sure you get low fat or fat free dressing...dry multigrain cheerios are tasty, cheese sticks, natural fruit snacks, baked crackers, fruit cups with the jello...I can go on and on-just don't get in the habit of not getting him something just because you may not like it-

  6. fruits, veggies, sultanas, rice crackers, dips, cheese, yogurt, milk,
