What is the heartiest grass to grow in texas panhandle?

i am looking for the best/heartiest grass to grow in northern texas,low water some times high heat

Bermuda or Zoysia.  Both are drought tolerant however Bermuda requires more fertilizer applications.  St Augustine is another option however it is susceptible to a viral disease called SAD or St Augustine Decine which will kill the grass and cannot be gotten rid of.

Have you tried Texas bluebonnets ?    They can be mowed really easy, and are beautiful too.   I usually use seed in my yard that says on it "Texas" so there must be a lot of good seed there.  As to which is best, I do not know.
