  1. The highest Michelin rating for a single restaurant is 3 stars, which the Michelin  Guide calls "worth a special trip".  2  stars  means it's "worth a detour"  and one means it's a good  restaurant "in it's category".

    I know that even ONE is a HUGE compliment so I can't imagine how expensive a 4★ places are!!
