What is the highest amount of Michelin stars a restaurant can be awarded?

The highest Michelin rating for a single restaurant is 3 stars, which the Michelin  Guide calls "worth a special trip".  2  stars  means it's "worth a detour"  and one means it's a good  restaurant "in it's category".

possibly 5 or 6 I do not no for sure at tony romas they have 4 or 5 I cant remember but around those numbers im assuming

4 I believe... The AVERAGE though is 2.

I know that even ONE is a HUGE compliment so I can't imagine how expensive a 4★ places are!!
