    Pico Viejo is the second highest peak.



    Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia,  Seville are major cities.

    The capital is Madrid by the way.

    By the way, the highest mountain in Spain is the Teide Volcano (3,718 m) located on Tenerife Island in the Canary Islands. The next is Mulhacén, Andalusia at 3,482 m.

    Just the mainland - the highest is Mulhacén followed by Aneto, Aragon 3,404 m (peak in the Pyrenees)

    The major cities include the capital Madrid plus Barcelona with populations over a million. Next are a few with populations over 500,000 such as Valencia, Sevilla, Saragoza and Malaga.
