  1. 155 with a free ball given so you get an extra red and black

  2. jamie cope made a break of 155, the maximum that is realistically possible, by taking advantage of a free ball — in a witnessed practice match.

  3. It is possible to get 155; if a player fouls and leaves a free ball (ie there is not a fully open and direct path to a red) , then the other player may pot any colour as if it were a red, then if they pot the black they have scored 8 and there are still 15 reds available, if all these are potted with blacks and then all remaining colours they will score a further 147, leading to a total break of 155.

  4. The highest break I've ever seen is a 147. The highest result I've seen was a 151, because the players' opponent potted the cue ball after the break-off, but even then, the break counted as a 147. But it is possible (though I'm not sure if it has ever happened) to get a 155. A free-ball, then a black, then the 'regular' 147.

  5. its 154

  6. 155 is possible if a free ball is given which counts as a red and is  potted and a black to follow then 147 the rest

i think the highest break ever recorded with a free ball is 146 by alex higgins but dont quote me on that cos i may be wrong

  7. the highest break possible in snooker is 155,although nearly impossible that is why '147' is classed as the maximum, but 155 is possible.

  8. Well 147 IS called a maximum and IS really the highest break possible. However, if a free ball is given, I suppose a 155 is theoretically possible.
