Highest Grossing and Most Profitable are not one in the same.

Titanic GROSSED the highest but also cost $200 million to make so that gets subtracted from it's gross to determine profit. Overall, it's profit margin was 917%, not shabby by anyone's standards.

However, the most PROFITABLE film is The Blair Witch Project. It only cost roughly $60,000.00 to make and it's profit margin was 414,398%.
