  1. just building in dubai

  2. The Burj Dubai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is currently the world's tallest man-made structure. As of 12 May 2008, the building, which is still under construction, stood at 636 m (2,087 ft). When completed, it is planned to rise over 800 m (2,625 ft).

  3. the Burj Dubai

  4. There is some differing ways to interpret your question.

The tallest structure is the Burj Dubai.

The highest (on land) is likely a shed or something high up on Everest or somewhere else in the Himalayas.

Farthest land structure from the Earth's core might be on Kilimanjaro or Cotopaxi.

And if you consider structures in space, Voyager 1 is rapidly approaching 10 billion miles (high) from Earth. This probably doesn't qualify though because it's not really part of our world anymore... Or is it?

Hopefully one of these options is what you are looking for. :)

  5. Burj Dubai (United Arab Emirates) currently is the highest man made structure on Earth.

At  636 metres (2,086.614 ft) and more than 160 storeys high, Burj Dubai is now the world’s tallest building and tallest man-made structure having recently surpassed the height of the KVLY-TV mast in North Dakota, USA - 628.8 metres (2,063 ft). Burj Dubai is taller than Taipei 101 (508 metres; 1667 ft) in Taiwan and CN Tower (553.33 metres; 1815.5 ft) in Toronto, Canada.

    Current update (5th June 2008)

According to Old Town Resident Burj Dubai took another step forward and hit 656.1 meters with the new, 11th steel floor.

The developers won't reveal the building's exact height until it's completed, but it is speculated to be around 2,600 feet (800 metres).
