    Because of the far lower purchase price, the Chevy Aveo has the lowest cost of ownership and operating per 10,000 miles of any car on the road, including the Prius.

    There is no sense in spending 12,000 more to buy a car to save $25.00 a week in gas.

  5. The Toyota Prius gets very good mileage, other than that, you'd have to go with a Hybrid vehicle.  

    I drive a Ford Sedan, and get 25-27 in the city, and 29-34 on the hwy - (mfg rating is 21 city / 29 hwy).
