  1. Thurgood Marshall nominated by Johnson, a Democrat.

Several held office under Clinton as Secretary of Labor and Agriculture and Jocelyn Elders was Surgeon-General until she came to the defense of masturbation and brought down the wrath or the Repubicans.

  2. Dems only talk about it and create more social programs to keep minorities in their place.

  3. TERRIFIC POINT!!!   Following adages apply to the Dems on this one...

The proof is in the pudding.

Put your money where our mouth is.

    Deeds, not words.

    Put up or shut up.

    Any others?

  4. The first black supreme court justice, the absolutely brilliant Thurgood Marshall, appointed by LBJ in 1967.

  5. You have a good point but this election will not put Obama in the White House..but he sure did try

  6. their presidential candidate... when was the last time the republicans did the same?

    EDIT:

And do you believe that all those red states would EVER put in a black candidate?  Just because ONE guy appoints a few people(most likely just to support you very argument) doesn't mean he has the backing of the majority of his party.

  7. I don't know about the US, but in Canada, we've made a black woman Governor General.  That's one step below Queen - she's the Queen's representative in Canada.

She replaced a Chinese lady that was Governor General.

    Both have been spectacular.

  8. Soon it will be 'President of the United States'
