Want to add something more to what Kookee has said.

Wicket keepers take maximum number of catches per match. Amongst non-wicket keepers, Eknath Solkar's record of about 2 catches per test match is the highest achievement by a fielder. Solkar played 27 test matches for India and took 53 catches. Dravid took 176 catches in 124 test matches.
