What is the highlight of mahabharata?

I am working on our project regarding the epic "Mahabharata". I wanna know what is the important part Mahabharata. Answers would be gladly appreciated. thanks!

I don't know what's most important to the plot/themes, except the Bhagavad Gita is the most religiously important part - it's a Hindu scripture (the Gita).

there is not really one...its all about courage and morals and doing whats right...basically the importance of it was in the Bhagavad Gita
