What particular model are you referring to?  Back 13 years ago, the biggest engines were less than half of the current 215 hp available from Bombardier.  I have a friend that has a 94 GTS model, a 3-seater.  The engine, while not much more than an oversized lawnmower, (I think in the 60-70 hp range) is quite dependable and very frugal with fuel.
