Bird's eye chili pepper or we called it cili padi in my place.and tasted good too...commonly used in Asian cuisine.. but if i'm not mistaken,there's one chili is much hotter than this chili...

I always thought it was the habenaro, never heard of the scotch bonnet. idk............I don't like food thats too hot!!

Scotch bonnet. In reality chili peppers creep up on you. An Afghani friend told me that it depends how you cut them. There are about 90 different varieties of chili peppers, and the most innocent, large, green Kenyan pepper  packs a punch if you cut it in half and then cut the halves diagonally. No, I didn't believe it either but I've tried it. It even surprised an Indian friend who was born in Kenya.
