What is the hourly rate for weeding a yard?

i am weeding my neighbors yard and they asked me what my hourly rate is. what is a good hourly rate for weeding?

15 dollars per hour.  Many companies get well over 20.

It is not fair to pay somebody 5 or 10 dollars/hr to do manual labor. Even Mexican workers will tell you where to go.

The going labor rate for a business is $30/hr... for an individual maybe $20.  If I was doing the work for you, on the side, I would settle for $20/hr. Weeding is manual labor, the person is paying because they don't want to do it.

Be firm...if you cant make $200/day, I would find work elsewhere.

it depends upon where and what you weed you weed .

If you weed in NY, you get $100/min.....if you weed in AK, you get $100/decade................lmao

Most people charge you for the yard. I think if you want to charge by the hour $ 5.00 is a good price.

Depends what part of the country you're in and how old and experienced you are. I'd say $10/hr. would be fair in many regions.

Hourly rate?  I would never pay an hourly rate for yard work.  Try $5.....  I would just charge by the yard, it's more fair that way.

Well, as a little kid, I did it for 5 or 10 bucks for a whole yard.

Then, as a teenager, I got 5 or 10 bucks an hour for gardening.

Now that I work for a nursery, the going rate seems to be anywhere from 15 to 30 an hour for weeding.

You decide your own price really, but be reasonable, and you'll get more work.

Also, have you tried a hula hoe before? Weeding with a hula hoe is about 10 times faster than weeding by hand, and it often works better. Invest in one of these:
