What is the hourly rate of an electrician in boston

I need some electrical done and I am going to but all the material. So I am trying to figure out how much the labor will cost.

There is no set standard.... if you get someone in the union, it would be much more than an average joe.... you can also call around to different electricians and ask them what their hourly rate is.

We paid someone $65/hour in newton a few years ago.  He was an independent master electrician.
