  1. I worked at Applebee;s as a hostess and they paid 5.15 plus tip's that the bartender and servers had to pay out


  2. Generally it's minimum wage.  If you have A LOT of experience they might give you a tiny bit more.

  3. it's a little less than minimum wage because of the tips, so it depends on what state you're in

  4. Usually between $6-7/hour plus tipout from the servers; if it is a restaurant that does not give tipout to the host/hostess, than they might pay $9-10/hour.

    **Edit - This was true to the best of my knowledge, but than the last time I worked in a restaurant was a couple of years ago!!  Plus pay rates probably vary by area/state.

  5. I think they are all different.  The one I worked they were paid $8 or $9 an hour plus 1% tipout from the servers overall sales.

  6. I think it less then minimum wage because of the tips.
