What is the importance of DNA copying in reproduction?
Tags:
Actually DNA stands for deoxyribo nucleic acid and the replication of DNA is quite a interesting and comples procedure. Dna copying in the nucleus of the germ cell in male and female produces two copies of the genes present in them and at the time of zygote formation the normal number of chromosomes would be restored in the offspring. The consistency in the Dna copying or we can say that how closely the copies have been made will tell whether that offspring can use the niche of its species or not.Hence Dna copying is very important . It will also ensure variations among the offfspring and allow its survival. If the dna copuing is not done properly than the offspring would be produced that will not be able to adopt himself to the present environment.
