  1. An education provides people with the experiences, opportunities, tools and skills needed to look at the ever- changing world around them, and doing what they can to make a positive difference and earn a living so that they can make a life.

    A broad knowledge base is one gift that impacts everyone. Think of those who don't have a broad knowledge base.....and how one-sided, head-strong, and unpleasant they themselves are, and how unpleasant their decisions make everyone else it effects


  2. That a child learn about the world around them.  That learning has signifigance to them because they can put it into what they already know and go on from that point to things that they don't know

  3. Well, I could say something about being productive members of society, yada yada . . . but in reality, it's so you won't be stupid!
