Sharing Information:

-Consistency: everyone is working in best interest of the child.

-Safety: EG: medical issues, allergies

-Support learning: likes, dislikes, what stage they're up to.

-Support the transition from preschool to school as the teacher can read/speak to old staff to find out about the child.

-Background info: if anything is happening at home that could effect child: eg: separation, family death...
