  1. You can obtain many different viewpoints on certain topics and gain another person's insight and ideas on the subject. You will get more than just a single outlook. Embracing diversity helps you understand why people have a range of opinions. Ethics can influence research because people may have varying methods of how to reach a goal. I.e.: If we wanted to see if a product is safe for human use - Some people approve of animal testings but others call this animal cruelty. It all depends on you ethics and what you believe is right.  


  2. The word "diversity" has become a code word for "politically correct."  It will help you get funding for your research.
