  1. Mental concentration is a process of exercising the intellect and bringing it into a state of focus.

    It allows one to intellectually gain a form of clarity.

    It allows one to sort through accumulated knowledge and make correct decisions from what one has gathered.

    * This exercise known as 'mental concentration' is what enables humans to avoid what otherwise would develop into a state of 'mental constipation'.

    What will we say is the opposite or absence of mental concentration, a sprawling random stream of thoughts with no or little connection...? That's not conciousness, that's just dreaming!

  5. if you don't concentrate mentally, you won't have motivation. if you don't have motivation, you wont have hope. if you don't have hope, you will collapse. if you collapse, and don't concentrate mentally, you cannot get back up.

  6. Mental concentration helps you focus on what you are doing. Plus if we didn't have mental concentration, everyone would act on impulse and the would be a lot more fighting and arguing between people.
