  1. In order to prevent theocracy. We can't make one opinion invincible

  2. More of freedom one has  to open his mind .. read and know other religions and find out which is correct one. The most of the people of US are doing this way

  3. Because we voted. Thanks for asking.

  4. I am always amused by the concept of religious freedom and the fact many people who claim it and fear it is being eroded are those same people that seek to tell people what to do, thus limiting everyone else's freedom.

  5. To protect liberty of conscience is the duty of the state. No government should regulate or enforce religious observance by civil authority.

  6. Here's the significance.  Not having government officers telling you who and how to worship; plain and simple.  Freedom of religion is what our nation was based on.

  7. Everything.

  8. When officials govern the way you think, they govern what makes you worthy.

  9. somewhat less than the importance of freedom from religion

  10. It is important for people not to have the state impose a reiigion on people within the U.S.

  11.   Speaking as a Christian, religious freedom would have little significance to me if it was taken away because I have already been set free from the bondage of sin. They could take away religious freedom next year and it still wouldn't do anything to deter nor derail my worship of Yahweh God. They can make laws that control whether or not I go to church or whether not I can read the Bible in public but they cannot control my heart, my spirit nor my contact with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. And that is what they would most like to control.  But to answer your question directly, religious freedom is an integral part of keeping this country whole and free but as I stated above taking that away would do "nothing" to slow down Christianity in any way, shape, or form. They have tried that for 2000 years and have failed miserably.

  12. It is important to some people so they make it important to everyone.  Nobody should be told what they cannot believe.

  13. Thats a contadiction

To have religion is to have an enslaved mind

  14. It's only as important as the importance of non-religious freedom.
