What is the indian government doing to try and make India a developed country by 2020?

Do you know India is the 3rd biggest economy in the world, only after the U.S and China and competes with Japan to be in that position? Do you know India has the highest number of IT,Software Professionals and  Engineers and Doctors than any other nation in the world. Do you know 93 percent of youth in the age group between 19 to 27 in India has a professional degree or is actively pursuing one. Do you know India has more engineers and doctors and professionals sent around the world than any other nation. Are you aware that 31 percent of engineers and 17percent of highly specialized doctors in the United states are from this one country alone. Or that India is the 6th nuclear nation in the world among the only 7. India is a far educated and talented society with a very complex and complicated culture. Its also interesting to know that it has a huge and powerful army, airforce and navy strength, the nation is completely self-sufficient producing most of its needs by itself and exports more, has the highest brain drain ratio in the world, has a huge population 1.17 Bn, An elaborate government infrastructure, Highly skilled High school education system, English as a standard in all schools, has oil and energy reserves and has excellent relationships with most developed and developing nations in todays world. They have research in everything you can possibly think of, from nanotechnology to biology to nuclear physics to rocket science. You name it. If you don't believe me, walk into any University in the United States, chances are you will be in one of the classes taught by an Indian professor. Or try a High-tech company or even a hospital.
