  1. PAN card, Account in bank, knowledge of export

  2. If I am not wrong you are talking about starting an export company. For that you need to register your company if its limited, or private limited with Registrar of Companies. If it's partnership firm, it is not required, but recommended to get it registered through registrar of societies & firms. Then you need to obtain a PAN No. in your company's name. Afterwards, approach CLA, DGFT of your area, check your correct DGFT through their website dgft.nic.in. There you need to file application for IEC No. issuance, form will be given to you at DGFT office, you need to attach following documents alongwith the form i.e.

    1. Copy of MoU, partnership deed whatever applies in your case,

    2. Copy of PAN

    3. Original Bank certificate (confirming the account details of the company/firm)

    3. Bank Draft of registration money

    4. Photograph/s of the owner/s

The owner in person needs to submit the application form. After 10 days or so, the IEC No. will be sent to your address. After that you may start exporting. Prior to that take a letter from your bank confirming their AD code, alongwith company's account details. You need to submit the Bank's letter alongwith copy of your IEC No. at EDI office at Airport/Seaport from where you intend to send the consignments. Now you can start exporting without any problems.
