  1. it is there so there is added visibility. you see that stream of water in the air you know there is a PWC and that its a kawasaki  


  2. It's the outlet stream of the engine's cooling system.

  3. I thought it's like a bulge pump so you don't sink! On my father in laws he presses the button for bulge pump and it spits out the back after he flipped it.  I don't think it's a constant stream though when he is regularly on it.
