What is the job title of people who interview celebrities and write columns in magazines?

I am trying to figure out what i want to go to college for and I want to base it on something that i would enjoy doing for a long time. I would like to know what celebrity interviewers that write columns for magazines major in when they go to college?

journalism is helpful but you don't HAVE to major in it to do that.  A lot of journalists will have english majors, which is a more flexible degree.
