What is the key increase confidence in my personality?

I am 16 year old teenage facing the same problem of increasing confidence to meet every requirement of commercial world.I always take time to come out of my shell , which results into nervous lack of confident state.because of this i m facing many problem in different aspects of of my career.please help

There is nothing wrong . I must face a congressman, three city mayors, and a crowd at a monument I constructed for the city. I ask myself, will I lose my place, will I look a fool, is the work good enough, all the little insecurities that go with any venture. It is a mild form of stage fright, but once the show starts, you just do your best, and it works out. I always feel this, and I have a lot of experience. you are only 16, I am 67, and we both have the same problem. Just realize that this is an aspect of life, and by trying harder, you will do a better job of it than you realize. Good luck, and keep pushing.

The key is to focus on strengths not weaknesses. Please google a short piece called Desiderata. I think it may help you a lot right now.

The main reason why people are not confident is because they are afraid of what others may think of them. They are afraid of how they would be viewed and judged, but you should not care. I am sure you have great ideas that you can bring to the commercial world, but you lack the confidence because you may fear what others would think of your idea. You should try to forget how others would react and focus more on portraying your ideas and yourself and always think, what is the worse that can actually happen? The worst is that they can possibly make suggestions to improve your idea, and that would be no problem because you want feedback and you want to improve.

The commercial world NEEDS a confident personality, and you can be that person, just don't care too much about what others will say and how they would react.
