  1. French of course! but English a little bit!

  2. Depends.

    At Rive gauche, langue d'oc

At Rive droite, the classical langue d'oi is more acceptable.

At 13th Arrondissement they speak swahili, mandarin and hakka (but I warn you: not Cantonese, never ever try to speak Cantonese there, they'll just kick you out)

North of Bastille is rather arabic.

  3. French, English and Spanish

  4. There goes another Stupid American!

  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris

  6. Do you have geography courses in your schools in the US?

May be yes...but you didn't go often, right ?

  7. French! duh!

  8. Eskimoo and signs language

  9. French is official, but English is common, Spanish, Flemmish, and a bit of German are found.  English is not popular, though.  Sometimes they pretend not to understand it unless you are spending money.

  10. You're kidding, right? Couldn't you have looked this up on Google in like 2 seconds?

French, obviously. English is used occasionally, but only in touristy areas when it is obvious you are an American (don't dress like an obvious American and you will fare a lot better).

  11. Paris, France?  The national language of France is French.  Some people speak other languages such as English, Spanish, German, Italian, etc, but you should never assume that someone does.  Always ask politely if they speak your language.

Paris, Texas?  They speak American English with a Texas drawl, and maybe a bit of Mexican Spanish.
