What is the large cat that is being marketed as the new household pet?

Is it a Serval? And are they really good pets or is this another one of those "exotic pet" issues?

Just curious. Not thinking about buying one!

I believe you're thinking of the new Savannah Cat. It's a cross between an African Serval and domestic cats. They are exotic pets but they're supposed to be very friendly and have little fears of water, vets, people, and dogs. They also will willingly walk on a leash so in my opinion they sound like good pets.

maybe an Ocelot.its wild cat:i don't know, why people would want a wild animal as a pet.

The Serval I think. They are huge aren't they? Not a pet cat if you ask me, but some folks have to have the latest & greatest, at the expense of the animal.
