What is the largest banquet hall in the LA area?

I need to find a banquet/ reception hall with a capacity over 1000 people.

Try the Olympic Collection.  In case one room isn't large enough, I believe they have several ajoining rooms.

The largest one I know of is at the Hyatt Regency in downtown LA.  They used to hold the annual "World's Biggest Office Christmas Party" there.

Aside from that, I would suggest the Convention Center.
