Question:

What is the largest margin of victory in a PGA tournament playoff?

Most of the time is only by one stroke but I'd be interested to know if it's been by more than that.

  2. I originally thought The larget margin of victory in any PGA tournament playoff has to be The 1935 Masters.  At that time the Master had a 36 hole playoff.  That year Gene Sarazen beat Craig Wood by five strokes.

    However I did find that  Fuzzy Zoeller defeated Greg Norman in a 18 hole playoff  by 8 strokes(Zoeller shot 67, Norman 75) in the 1984 U.S. Open.
