What is the largest microSD card I can put into my blackberry curve?

I just got a BB curve. And,

I would like to get a larger sd card for it. I currentally have a 1Gb card.

I was just wondering what is the biggest one that will work in it.

  1. The largest is 8GB...I own a Curve on Telus and running the 4.3 software still - don't want to do the upgrade to 4.5 yet.  I have a 8GB and it works just fine. Also check the specs here:

Currently, with the AT&T model of the curve, the phone can take up to 2GB of a standard mini SD card, and up to 4GB of a SDHC memory card, however, if you upgrade your phones Operating System to the newest 4.5.0.37 OS, it will then accept up to 8GB card. AT&T doesn't currently have the 4.5 OS available for download, they are expected to get it before the end of the year.  If you wanted to risk your warranty, you can get the os download off the internet, just do a google search.

  4. that depends on the OSfrom 4.5 and on it can take 4 to 8 gigz  if your OS is under 4.5 then 2 gigz tops
