Well, I'm a bartender and always feel obligated to leave at least 50% of my tab. But, one night me and my 2 best friends went to dinner and our check was $150 (which should have been $350, but we knew the managers) and left the servers a $450 tip. So, we spent $200 each for dinner. I think the wine could have something to do with it :)

$20 for a $20 meal.... my food was forgotten, no drink refills, but the waiter was nice and cute. My friend and I were on vacation and wanted someone to hang out with, so we left him our phone number with the tip! we all hung out later that night!

I don't know the exact amount, but I've been known to tip 100% of the bill. Servers are some of the hardest working people in the world!

If I get good service i'll always tip minimum of 10%.

If i get c**p service, i actually count out the cash amount to the penny, and that's what they get.  xx
