I live in California and I have been to 2 high schools..

One ended May 30th and one ended June 14th..

When I was in school (elementary through high school), classes finished at the end of June and we started the new school year after Labor Day (early September).

In college (university), we finished the spring semester in mid-to-late May and began the fall semester in late August or early September.

Of course, all this was a VERY long time ago, LOL.
