What is the last name's initial if your last name starts with an O'?

O have a similar last name that has two capitals ... but the 'initial' should be O'C, not just an O, or just a C, although most people would assume that the proper initial would be O.  The O' stands for the word 'of' ... in my name it's Le, which means 'the' ... both of those words are not actually the name, so the initial should be O'C for your friend's name, and would be LM for my last name ...

Incidentally,. although you would look her up in an American telephone book under O, in Ireland the O' is taken for granted, and you would look for her under C.
