The world will end in mid 2012 according to an ancient calendar.  According to the bible, mans intelligence will increase a hundred fold in the last days.  Look how far we have come in the last one hundred years.  I feel we are living in the end times.

I heard that the sun would explode (because of pollution and pressure in the atmosphere) in about 2016, but I don't think that that will happen.  I think that we will have ATLEAST 50-200 more years.

The sun will eventually explode or turn into a black hole ,in a few billion years,but we might not make it to the past the next 200 years anyways,they way we are going with handleing the ever increasing climate change,and our carelessness for the enviroment in general,we don't have to worry about the sun,we are gonna die anyways.The whole 2012 thing is bull s**t.

Yeah, the "sun" person is ridiculous, it has about 5 million years left.  I imagine humans will kill themselves somehow long before that.  I imagine we make it to 5000 at least.  Even with all the huge disasters that will happen, humans are becoming smart enough to sustain life if at all possible..No other animal is able to become "smart enough" to destroy itself......which actually puts us in the "not so smart category".  We'll find a way to destroy ourself, before our sun decides to kick the bucket.
