What is the latest rule in acquiring dubai tourist/visit visa?

am a filipino,currently working in saudi arabia. i tried to read in dnrd website about the latest rules but nothing is there. am worried that if i take my chance in going to dubai and having my visa taken from the airport,i may fail. thanks a lot for the answers!

Dear Friend

As you are a Philippine Citizen, you are not entitled to get a visa on arrival at Dubai or any other airports in UAE.

So you required to arrange a visit visa before your visit here and you should keep a copy with you, provided the original deposited at the airport where your arrival is.

Better to ask any of your friends/relatives here to take a visit visa for you to travel here.

Are you looking to come to Dubai just for a visit... or to look for a job?  Either way, you can still get a visit visa... the only thing that is changing is the cost is going up as of Aug 1st.  Check with your friends in Saudi and find a travel agency that will book your flight and also arrange for a visa for you.  If you need help, or have any other questions, please feel free to email me.
