  1. While I think it depends a lot on the individual therapist, you might get the best information from this website:http://www.isst-d.org/

    It is the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (used to be just Dissociation.)  It has treatment guidelines at:  http://www.isst-d.org/education/treatmen... albeit the paper is dated 2005.  Also, has a therapist finder by location.
