I live in south georgia and the cops around here say that as long as you are 18 yrs. old you can carry and shotgun, rifle or muzzle loader with you in the pass. seat. When we were younger and got pulled over they always had us put our guns in the toolbox or just unload them. You dont want to get caught with a pistol in your truck when you are under 21.
