What is the law on no trespassing to repo a vehicle?

We had a tree that fell over after the last hurricane. The home owners a*s. wrote me and said that if i didnot remove it myself, they would remove it and charge me. I immediately wrote them and advised them not to tresspass, and that i would remove it when i had a chance. The property was well posted with 3 signs. Before the date they gave me that it was to be removed, they entered the property and removed a large amount of mesquete .disregarding the letter and the posted signs. Do i have a good and reasonable caus of action in JP court?
