  1. According to this I would assume that you need them.

    Last year, tens of thousands of good vehicles drivers across Scotland were charged with not wearing belts.


  2. icewitch54 is right

    there are few more exceptions though - drivers and passangers of classic cars (originally manufactured without safety belts). It wouldn't be the best solution to try fitting them into a Rolls Royce 10hp:-)

    In some European countries you don't have to wear a seatbelt when reversing - not sure about England, though.

  3. Seatbelts must be worn by driver and all passengers. Child seats and/or booster seats should be used for children not big enough to use the seatbelts otherwise. There are some exceptions e.g. taxi drivers.
