  1. 16.

  2. 16 for a girl, 18 for a boy. which is totally wrong. It used to be anyway, it may have changed to 16 across the board now.

  3. The age of consent is 16 for males and females throughout Australia.

  4. It's 16 in most states, 17 in South Australia and Tasmania, although in those cases it's different if both parties are around the same age.  In Queensland it's 16, but anal s*x is illegal for parties under 18.  Federally, it's illegal for an Australian citizen to have s*x with someone under 16 while overseas.

I don't know where you got the idea that it's illegal to go out with someone younger than 20 in the US.  In most US states the age of consent is 16 and in no state is it higher than 18.

A fifty year old geezer can legally have s*x with a minor in most of the developed world.  In fact in Spain a fifty year old geezer can legally have s*x with a 13 year old.  Of course in practice very few minors want to have s*x with old people, and if it isn't consensual then it's illegal no matter what the ages are.

  5. Varies by state to state, but the general rule is it's normally 16, but if the older party has some kind of duty of care to the younger party (e.g. teacher), the age in law becomes 18 (but that's notwithstanding rules of conduct for that profession etc).

  6. 16 all round
