What is the legal age that kids can work in missouri?

im only 11 right now and im pretty sure i cant have a real job like you know the ones that actually pay you but i was wondering what is the legal age to get a job in missouri. and what all do you have to do besides just fill out an application to get a job at the youngest age?

  1. Missouri Labor Laws:

    Young people under the age of 14 are allowed to work only in limited areas such as the entertainment industry.

    No child under fourteen years of age shall be employed or permitted to work at any occupation at any time.

    A child under sixteen shall not be employed or permitted to work by any person, firm, or corporation:

    Minimum Wage is $6.65/hr. effective January 1, 2008.

    It looks like in your state the legal age is 16  but with a parents permission you can work at under 14 if you're in the entertainment industry.
