I'm Mexican, and unfortunately its common practice to sell cigarettes and tobacco to minors.   Legally you should be at least 18 years old.

Legally speaking, eighteen..but there is a huge hole in the middle of practice, at 12 you are fine to buy tobacco or alcohol....it's that what hurts our nations in Latin America, the lack of people understanding that we have to build a respect laws and love for ourselves...because seriously...what kind of future has a person who drinks and smokes since little.

one time i was in mexico (im mexican) and there was some kid that was like13 driving a car ! and not very well. another time i was at a street party and another kid like12 was holding and drinking from tequila bottle and no one cared !
