  1. I'm french

and chil can go to bar with parent but they didn't drink a spirit only soda  !

at 16 you can drink , cider , beer, wine .

    at 18 , no probleme

It's legal go to night club at 16 with parent et alone at 18 !

But in cabaret and strip club at 18 .

    Pubs at 18 .

    bye

  2. Its age 16 to drink. I believe you can enter the bar if you are younger as long as you aren't drinking.

  3. it is 16 to drink (or 14 in a restaurant with your meal), some clubs is 16+ but bars i think can be for younger ages as long as they are not drinking,

  4. Clubs are usually 18 or 21, obviously each club will have its own policy and certain nights may be for certain age brackets.

  5. It's 18 for the clubs. you can go in bar at anu age but you can't have alcohol before 18. That's the theory.

But I've gone in bar and drink alcohol since I am 15...

  6. There is no legal minimum age limit to ENTER a bar or a club nor is there a  minimum age limit to CONSUME alcohol.

The minimum  legal age at which you can PURCHASE alcohol is 16 for beer or wine and 18 for distilled drinks (vodka for example).

None of this should be construed as giving you a right to enter a bar or club if the management doesn't choose to allow you to enter for any reason including setting their own minimum age limit.

  7. Legal drinking age is 16 but I don't remember anyone ever asking how old I was when I ordered in a cafe.

Clubs may be different but it would probably have nothing to do with the drinking age. However, my wife used to take groups of high school kids (16-18) to France (exchange type programs) and the kids always ended up in clubs in the evening...
