  1. The best thing you can do is to check the cruise lines home page. There all the age requirements is written down. The cls tends to have the same rules throughout the cruise but it could be different in some ports. I knew that in some port the casinos are closed for example. Also be awere that your gf is under the age for drinking in the bar. Its 21 in most cases. Also check out, if you havent, your cls age requirement. Some cls have a minimum age reqirement of 25 for the oldest if both arent over 21. Johan

  2. the age is always 21 plus u need the money  .....okay?

  3. I would check with your travel agent because once the ship is in the water, it's not governed by any state laws, and it's very possible she could gamble.

  4. The age for gambling in the casino is 21, where ever the ship is. However if your girlfriend looks like she is in her twenties, then I don't see that she will have a problem. If she is lucky enough to win something the you can always cash her chips for her. You won't have any problem.

  5. The CORRECT ANSWER is age 18.   This is from the Royal Caribbean web site:

" Guests eighteen (18) years of age and older are welcome to play in our casinos (for all Alaska sailings, guests must be 21 years of age in order to play in our casinos)."

    This is from Carnival:

"Players must be at least eighteen years old to play in the casino."

This is from NCL's web site:

" What are NCL's Age Requirements?

Company policy dictates that a passenger under 21 years of age must be accompanied in the same or connecting stateroom by a passenger 21 years or older who expressly agrees to be responsible for the under 21 passenger throughout the cruise. This includes, but is not limited to, preventing under-age purchase or consumption of alcohol**, preventing under-age gaming activities and preventing violations of any ship's rules. Passengers must be age 21 to purchase or consume alcohol and age 18 to gamble on the ship. If the accompanying adult is not the minor's parent or legal guardian, a PARENTAL/ GUARDIAN CONSENT LETTER that authorizes the minor's travel and further authorizes medical treatment in case of an emergency must be delivered to an NCL representative at the pier. Failure to produce this letter at embarkation may result in boarding being denied, with no refund of cruise fare provided. "

Now you would think that because passengers have to be age 21 or older to drink alcoholic beverages it would be the same for gambling, BUT IT IS NOT.

So you can both gamble away

  6. When the cruise is close to shore (within about 3 miles), it is governed by state and federal law.  Once it crosses into International waters, the cruise's bylaws take effect.  Many times cruises offer the drinking and gambling to those 18+.  Double check with the cruiselines though before doing anything as each can be different.

  7. 21yrs
