What is the legal age to have s*x in Australia?

Depends on the state... In Tasmania it's 17.. Same in SA I think..

And I'm pretty sure the rest of the country is 16..

16 for male & female, although I think it's 18 for homosexuals - don't understand why...but I'm sure someone told me that recently. Discrimination if it is true.....

isnt it 16,  but no more than a two year age gap if one of the two is under 18?..  or something along those lines?...

The age of consent law is different in each State in Australia

In Qld, it is 16 for most sexual activity and 18 for anal s*x

There is no "close in age" exception in Qld

Sections 208 and 215 of the Qld Criminal Code

legaly you can have s*x at the age of 10 but the person has to be within 2 yars of that age so if your 13 you can have s*x legaly if the person is between 11 and 15. once you are 16 you can have s*x with somone any age. (obviously unless there your teacher or parent etc)

seriously.if there is a age limit, no one is going to go say "well im young, i wanna try it, oh but the age limit is 16, well the p.m isnt gunna shoot me for it".

so many kids below 14 are having s*x these days
