I am 16 and my girlfriend is 14, is it legal for us to have s*x in MA? If not, what are the consequences?

  1. no she needs to be 16 if you do and her parents or anyone finds out and reports you can go to jail and be labeled a s*x offender for the rest of your life.    it is statutory rape even if she consents  


  2. The age of consent in MA is 16. In other words, if you have s*x with your girlfriend, you will have commited a crime, but she won't. There won't be a problem as long as she (or her parents) don't press charges.

  4.    No it is not legal and you will put yourself at risk for a statutory rape charge. The penalty I am unsure of but it depends on the county and your delinquent history if there is any. She has to be sixteen to consent and you can't be over 18. Even though she can consent at 16 if her parents wished to press charges against you they could until she is eighteen.
